CHAIRMAN : PETER HUTCHINSON
PETER HUTCHINSON
graduated from York University in 1972 with a degree in
Economics and Social Statistics. In 1975 he qualified as a
Chartered Accountant, becoming a Fellow of the Institute of
Chartered Accountants in 1982.
In 1985 Peter set up Hutchinson & Co. as a collection agency for a resort in Portugal. Others soon followed, and as some of them operated under the Club Trustee system of timeshare, the company was also appointed as a Trustee's Completion Agent. Hutchinson & Co. Ltd. was established in 1987, followed by the formation of Hutchinson & Co. Trust Company Ltd. in 1992, when the specialist knowledge and experience gained over the preceding 5 years could finally be utilised to its full extent. Peter has served on both the Timeshare Council and the Ethics Council of the Organisation for Timeshare in Europe (OTE), and was, in fact, one of the founding Board Members of OTE. He has also advised several government ministers in various countries on the development of Vacation Ownership and related legislation.
Despite relinquishing his role as Managing Director in 1999
Peter remains as the NON EXECUTIVE COMPANY CHAIRMAN, a
move which has enabled him to spend more time pursuing new
opportunities for the Company and extending the range of
services offered through the Company's three offices. |

MANAGING
DIRECTOR : PAUL SMYTHE
PAUL SMYTHE, also a Chartered Accountant by profession,
left Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co (now KPMG) in 1973 to join
the construction industry with Norwest Holst, where he first
worked alongside Peter Hutchinson. He continued in Finance
Director roles in the construction sector until early 1990's
and, in addition to his UK based work, was involved at board
level with companies in Europe, the Middle East and the USA.
In 1992/93 Paul first became associated with the timeshare
industry whilst working for First National Bank and then
continued in the holiday sector, as a Divisional Finance
Director of Airtours, the large UK tour operator. Paul has
been a timeshare owner for a number of years and returns
regularly to his home resort in The Gambia.
He joined Hutchinson & Co Trust Company as Managing Director in August 1999 and his role now takes him regularly to the Far East. He is constantly seeking to extend the scope of the Company's activities to utilise the diverse skills of the Hutchinson Team, a source of great pride to him.

COMPANY
DIRECTOR : JOY POPE
JOY POPE joined Hutchinson & Co. at its inception in 1985 and was appointed a director of the newly formed Trust Company. She was instrumental in setting up the modus operandi for the Company in its early days, having overall responsibility for the administration of all contracts processed through its Head Office. Together with the rest of the Board, she is involved in all facets of the Company's business development programme and the planning of the Trustee or Stakeholder structure to be implemented. Joy has been a member of the Timeshare Council for some years and was invited to join the OTE Membership Council and OTE Board of Directors in June 2003. |

Legal Services Director
VERANNE WILKINSON first joined Hutchinson in July 1996 as a Customer Relations Advisor working as part of a very busy team within the Operations Department. Having left the Company briefly to assist her partner with his business in Paris, she returned to Hutchinson in September 1999 as a Supervisor and then a Manager, once again within the Operations Department.
Veranne has a wealth of experience regarding all aspects of Operations, and was appointed to the Board in June 2005. This was followed in January 2006 by a move into the expanding Legal Services Department, where she is now able to bring her operational experience to the demanding role of Legal Services Director. |

Finance Director
A Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants Mark has spent over 20 years working in financial management, predominantly within service industries.
He joined the Company in May 2004 and was appointed to the Board in June 2005 as Finance Director and also acts as Company Secretary.
Mark is keen to expand the role of the Finance function within the Company, developing integrated reporting systems compatible with the expanding global nature of the Company's customer base and operating platforms

Hutchinson & Co. (India) Pvt Ltd
PRAKASH BALACHANDRAN joined the Bangalore offices of Hutchinson & Co. (India) Pvt. Limited in 1996. An accountant by profession, he trained with Price Waterhouse in Chennai (formerly Madras) after completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from Loyola College in Chennai. He subsequently started and managed a family-owned distributorship for a range of premium teas before joining Hutchinson. Whilst managing the Indian operations, he has overseen the smooth and efficient transfer of a substantial portion of the Trust Company’s data processing and financial transaction functions to the Indian offices. He is fluent in four Indian languages, and loves travelling besides reading business magazines and books.

DANIEL CHOU
DANIEL CHOU
joined Hutchinson's in 1998 and leads its team in the Asia
Pacific office in Bangkok, Thailand. In addition to managing
Hutchinson's trust operations in Thailand, Daniel has built up
a thriving member service department working on behalf of
several resorts in the Asia Pacific region.
Daniel is fluent in Thai, English, Mandarin and
Cantonese, and he and his department have been very successful
in bringing on board several new resorts in Thailand, China,
The Philippines and Indonesia.
